Lease and Rental Agreements when OSU is Lessee

OSU frequently has a need to rent or lease property or space from outside entities to fulfill it's business or research programmatic needs. Lease Agreements for real property, both month-to-month and long term rental agreements, constitute a contract at any dollar level, and as such are subject to review and signature by an individual authorized to enter into formal agreements or contracts for the University.

The range of services Business Services provides in these instance varies greatly depending on the need. If and when needed, we can investigate the space, determine appropriate rates, negotiate the lease and coordinate logistics of a move, including those between departments. We will also facilitate approval of long-term (a term of greater than 5-years) through the State Board of Higher Education.
